The scope of the activities is diverse and covers the following broad functional areas, Migration of balances from one SOB (Set of Books) to another SOB, includes ,General Ledger balance migration, Fixed assets accounts sub ledger balance movement, Accounts Payable sub ledger balance migration.,Inter Company ledger balance migration, conversion of Ledger in INR functional currency into USD functional currency by cost center., Support for revenue accounting. This assignment requires multi-function expertise within the finance and accounting domain as the deployment of consultants shall be in multiple functions within F&A function. The assignment warranted a swift ramp-up and NIL learning curve and need to function without training, shortfalls to the client interaction team for further actions and ensure collection of receivables or receive credits in 26AS.
We supported one of a leading multinational technology client in resolving their customer receivables outstanding. The task involved reconciling ledgers between our client and their customer. Despite voluminous transactions, numerous credit notes, transactions due to GST transition, we could ascertain the clear outstanding balances that needs to be settled or accounting entries to be passed in the system
Our team was engaged by Global leading data management and Software Company to support them in their annual accounts closure as per Indian GAAP. The assignment involved preparation of Fixed assets related schedules, supporting for Tax audit and supporting in INDAS implementation (Phase II),Co-ordination with Big 4 auditors to ensure successful closure of the financial for the year 2017-18.
